More Edit: I took my own advice and made another one of my Windows 7 machines that doesn't even have a driver installed at all (besides Microsoft standard) work with Spectralayers 8.0.10.270. I have SL 8 on a Win7 machine like this. Official AMD video driver for legacy video cards, new! As a side note, AMD just released a new video driver for legacy cards which DOES have a new OpenGL that works again with Vegas 19!!! R2R 636 here but probably 643 ok too, untested on the latter yet though. Spectralayers opens normal, no AVX needed and OpenGL requirement not changed or upgraded. Thank you for the heads up and thank you all else. When I am done, I will tell any hurdles or smooth. If it all is just ok, well, better safe than sorry in this particular sort of thing. It is a VERY smart idea to copy and paste the files it will overwrite, for keeping, in case it goes wonky for any various assortment of reasons.
